Client Marketing: Connecting with a New Generation

Medication and DIY (at-home) abortions are becoming the most popular way of terminating pregnancy across America. Stricter state laws on abortion are causing women & men to order the abortion pills online from rouge pharmacies. This is causing unsafe conditions for the pregnant women & their babies.
Our primary job here at Starting Point is to reach those who are considering abortion as their last resort and fully educate them on life-affirming alternatives.
We are utilizing as many social media platforms as possible to reach abortion minded and abortion determined men and women. Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok have been our most popular platforms to reach those among different generations.
Creating different social media accounts for both our clients and donors also allows us to reach and connect with the younger generations (Gen Z and Millennials), while still maintaining our relationship with the Gen X and Boomer generations.
Each generation has a different way of communicating. Whether it is a change in language or using snail mail versus direct messaging, we must adapt to reach each person. We must also be careful with what and how we post. Abortion is a hard topic to talk about. Society often portrays the opposite of pro-life position. While we view abortion as a traumatic and scary life event, others may view it as their best option. We strive to maintain our Christian values as a pregnancy center while also affirming those in need through our website, social media, and other outreach opportunities.
