My heart for people and serving the Lord brought me to Starting Point. After 3 years as the Development Director, I transitioned into the role of Executive Director. It is a great honor to lead a ministry with such a rich legacy in our community.
I am a graduate of Mount Vernon Nazarene University with multiple degrees and experience in business, healthcare and treatment foster care. I enjoy fundraising, building relationships, and encouraging people. Faith and family are most important in my life.
Client Services Director
I am humbled and grateful for the opportunity to serve as Client Services Director at Starting Point. My journey with the ministry began as a student intern, continued as a volunteer advocate and ultimately led to joining the staff.
With more than 20 years of experience in church ministry as a pastor's wife, administrative assistant and worship leader, I cherish the opportunity to minister to families in our community. I am a graduate of Mount Vernon Nazarene University and currently pursuing a degree in Social Work. It is a privilege to continue serving our clients, staff and volunteers with love and compassion.
Development Director
I am an Interior Design Institute Graduate and have spent several years working in pro-life, non-profit ministries and mentoring women of all ages in my church.
I am excited to serve as Development Director here at Starting Point and to combine my love for art with my heart for ministry! I love event planning, digital & interior design, marketing & building meaningful relationships with those around me.
Nurse Manager
I graduated from Malone College with a Bachelor's in Nursing and have been a Registered Nurse for 25+ years. Working in women's health is my calling, and I feel blessed to have been given the opportunity to help women facing unexpected pregnancies.
As the Nurse Manager, my main responsibilities include offering pregnancy tests, limited OB ultrasounds, STI/STD testing and treatment and options counseling to our clients.
Marketing & Outreach Coordinator
I am a recent graduate of Mount Vernon Nazarene University with a double major in Communication and Media along with English. At school, I discovered the art of storytelling and journalism through multiple forms of media. I love being creative, whether through writing, video or photography.
Here, I have the exciting opportunity to use and develop my skills at a place that cares for people in their need! Working with social media, marketing, events, and boutique management, I treasure this calling to visually and verbally communicate the heart of Starting Point’s mission.
Mobile Operations Coordinator
I am so excited to serve the community as Mobile Operations Coordinator. I am passionate about serving families, and through my position, I hope to bring encouragement, support and light to the families encountering unexpected pregnancies. My position manages the operations of the Mobile Medical Unit, including the maintenance and organization of the unit.
I graduated with a B.S. in Biology from Mount Vernon Nazarene University in May 2026 and plan to pursue an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have been saved by grace through faith in Christ, and I desire to share the good news of Jesus with those that I encounter.
Client Care Coordinator
I recently graduated from Mount Vernon Nazarene University with a B.S. in Marketing. During college, I served in admissions and residence life, where I enjoyed building relationships and encouraging students. I also had the opportunity to work at a children’s camp in Colorado, an experience that strengthened my love for serving others and sharing Christ’s love.
I’m excited to join the Starting Point team as Client Care Coordinator and look forward to supporting clients with compassion while helping foster an environment where every person feels welcomed, valued and cared for.
Outside of work, I enjoy photography, traveling, exploring coffee shops and making memories with friends.
Office Manager
I graduated with an Associate’s in Accounting and am passionate about using my skills to serve in the nonprofit community. After serving at a nonprofit thrift store for five years supporting men in addiction recovery, I am excited to continue that mission by helping women and families through Starting Point.
I am grateful to be part of a team that encourages women to discover the path God has for them; I pray my work reflects His love and brings hope to those we serve.
Medical Director
Dr. Hardin currently runs his own practice: Riverwood Family Health in Mount Vernon, Ohio, located in the Starting Point building. Having received his Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Hardin is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and loves serving the whole family in a multi-generational context.
Both Dr. Hardin and his wife, Emily, are excited to care for the families of Starting Point as an extension of service to the community.
