Starting Point Celebrates 34 Years of Life!

Starting Point is celebrating 34 years of life and services to Knox County. We are a life-affirming, non-profit organization committed to educating and empowering teens and young adults to be intentional about setting life goals and making informed decisions about their relationship and future families. Very often an unexpected pregnancy decision plays a critical role in this process.

Those needing help will not only find free pregnancy services and STI testing, ob-ultrasounds and options education on abortion, adoption and parenting, but they will discover a safe, non-judgmental environment with licensed counseling and loving support available to help them learn to build healthy support systems that will last a lifetime.

As we celebrate Sanctity of Human Life month, we recognize there are those among us experiencing the “forbidden grief” of pregnancy loss. Everyone knows someone, but these losses are outside the normal rules of polite society, so we rarely know what to say or do. The caring professionals at Starting Point understand and are here to help.
