The Power of Partnership

The very foundation of our community depends on moms and dads building healthy, thriving families. Starting Point is here to support them. Our staff sets an example of a loving family. The moment a person walks in, they sense the atmosphere of home, peace and family. They feel wrapped in safety that provides them with a place of healing and growth where they can seek truth, ask questions and get answers they need.

This month, we welcome Marissa Kunes, Mobile Operations Coordinator, to the team. She will be responsible for launching our mobile unit into the community. We will be transporting our mobile unit from Tennessee very soon and preparing it to be branded for Starting Point!

And that’s not all! For years, Starting Point has partnered with Relationships Under Construction (RUC) to bring abstinence education and social health programs into our local middle and high schools. But this year, we are looking to strengthen our presence in schools by supporting the social workers and counselors as part of our commitment to them.

Our partners and volunteers make it possible for us to be present at community events and provide educational opportunities as often as possible. It is making a difference.
