What is Safe Sex?

Sex and fire have lots in common…ever thought about that?

Ever enjoyed the warm toasty feeling of a hot fire dancing in the night as you’re huddled around a fire pit enjoying the ooey gooey chocolaty goodness of a freshly toasted s’more?  Or, ever sat in front of a fireplace as the heat of the fire warmed your chilly toes after a hardy play in the snow on a cold wintery day?

Would those experiences be different if those nice safe, warmth providing fires weren’t built in the safety of the fire pit and fireplace?  What if after a play in the snow you came in and built a fire to warm your toes right in the middle of your hardwood floor?  Crazy, right?  It could burn your whole house down.  People could get hurt!

Fire may not seem like it has a whole lot to do with our question about safe sex…but it does!

We build fire inside something that contains the flames so we can enjoy the fire in the safest way possible.  We keep it contained so it doesn’t burn out of control.

Safe sex, I mean the safest sex you can possibly have, that kind of sex…IS. THE. SAME. WAY!

We need to find a way to contain it so the flames of passion don’t burn out of control. So people don’t end up hurt.
